Awesome Hotel
I just have to say that our stay at the Oxford Suites Hotel in Portland was most excellent. We brought our Labradoodle Java with us and the whole staff was very accomodating to all of us. There is a very nice dog park just down the street from the hotel and a huge park. The evening reception hour was wonderful and the breakfast was very very good. This should be a 5 star hotel in my eyes.

excellent!
We stayed two nights here over 4th of July weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable and reasonably quiet. The beds were comfortably firm with lots of pillows. Some nice touches--quality towels and linens, etc. WiFi worked great. Our special requests were answered promptly and with care. We would definitely stay here again.

14 Days of Bliss
My boyfriend, who lives in England presently, and I both stayed here for 14 days in June of 2009. Being that I live with a disabled parent in the area, this was the best option for some privacy and being close to home in case I was needed. The Oxford gaves us everything we wanted for our vacation...his first trip to America I might add. Room was impeccably clean, staff went above and beyond in service even making reservations for us to have dinner at nearby Stanford's one night, and the breakfast is excellent. Much better than the normal hotel continental breakfast: eggs made to order, a daily special, different breads for toast, cereals, etc. The nightly reception is not to be missed. 2 free drinks (wine or beer but remember to give a bit of a tip to your bartender...they deserve it!) and above standard appetizers including hot items. Hotel is close to the freeway which made taking my boyfriend around very easy. He loved it!
As of this writing, we are planning another trip for him, and his parents, out here in May and Oxford is the leader for hotel choices. It may not be the cheapest in the area, but the ammenities and wonderful staff make the price worth every penny!

How I called this place home for two months.
This hotel and the entire staff were fantastic!! I stayed here back in April, May and early June of '08 as a guest of Werner Enterprises and I loved it!!

Great place to stay!!
Stayed here in early January. The rooms are comfortable, nicely furnished. They have cable, DVD player and unbelieveably fast wifi access. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Upon my arrival at the airport, their van driver was on lunch break. They payed for a cab instead of making me wait. The free full breakfast and evening reception was very nice. Very close to a MAX station(light rail) that will take you anywhere in town. Staff will even give you a ride to the Station. They go above and beyond to make your stay the best...it shows!

Home away from home
We took advantage of the Home for the Holidays rate during Christmastime. It was a bargain - especially for what it included. Free internet, free parking, free cooked-to-order breakfast, free evening reception. Indoor pool, gym, wet and dry sauna. The room had a fridge and micro. Cable TV and a dvd player. Very comfy indeed.
What made the trip was the staff, though. Everyone was so friendly and made sure our trip was just perfect. We're looking forward to going back again - soon.

Valued Variety
This hotel was better than expected. It is suited for all ages, so this isn’t a luxurious suite. However, the rooms are spacious and updated, creating a comfortable setting. The breakfast spread is more than plentiful and quite delicious. The evening reception is a great way to kick off a night with an alcohol and appetizer send me off. Freeways are accessible and outside dining is available.
